Street Closure Event: Children-Centric Street Design

MARUF (MARMARA URBAN FORUM) ON THE GO EVENT - 1: Sustainable Mobility Criteria Development Workshop for Kadikoy City Center: The "Istanbul Neighborhood-Centric Active Transportation Planning Study, Kadıköy Caferağa Neighborhood" project, which began in May 2023 and will be completed by October 2024, will prioritize sustainable transportation within the scope of livable neighborhood design. It will assess and evaluate concepts discussed in this context, and in collaboration with experts in the field, will engage in a workshop to discuss and determine the criteria for a locally specific livable neighborhood concept. This effort carried out under MARUF on The Go, will conclude with a one-day workshop, followed by field visits and additional workshop sessions. The event will be partnered with WRI Turkiye, Global Walkability Correspondence Network and Istanbul metropolitan Municipality.
