Blue Space is an action that promotes civic activism in different areas: creativity, tradition, craft, science, education, entrepreneurship, culture, art, and the inclusion of young children, and adults with disabilities to jointly design a city of opportunities. Special emphasis will be placed on saving energy and resources through the promotion of cycling, shared vehicles, the use of renewable energy sources, energy renovation of buildings, and the promotion of electric vehicles. On that day, Županijska ulica in the center of the city will be closed for motor vehicle traffic.

Car-free day Car-free day

Osijek carries out a Car-Free Day 2023 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
