Lana organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2023, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
/Project 'Safe to School'
This project, developed together with parents of school children and the municipality of Lana, will take place on the 14th and 15th September, the days leading up to the European Mobility Week.

During these two days, the road in front of the elementary school ‘Zollschule’ will be closed during school entry and school exit times from 07.15 - 07.45 and from 12.35 - 12.55 and is thus reserved only for pupils on their way to and from school.

The aim is to make the way to school safer for our children and to motivate them to use climate-friendly forms of mobility.
17 September
"On your wheels, get set, go" is the motto on Sunday, 17th September in Lana.

The third paperchase by bike will take place as part of the 'Lana moves local' initiative.
In addition to the shared enjoyment of cycling, it is also about experiencing one's own village surroundings on new as well as familiar paths by bike.

The aim of the paperchase is to collect stamps at various stamp stations throughout town. In order to receive these stamps, cyclists need to fulfill different tasks at every station such as skill and guessing games. With the collected points the participants can take part in a raffle. Anyone who has a bicycle and can ride it can take part.

The event was initiated by the municipality of Lana in cooperation with local voluntary organizations and businesses. It takes place every year during the European Mobility Week (16-22 September) with the aim to raise awareness for climate-friendly mobility and to support local economic cycles.
