Further info
We have included electric vehicles in our vehicle equipment inventory to preserve green spaces in Gaziantep, thus preventing carbon dioxide emissions and bring cleaner air to our city. The aforesaid equipment are as follows:

1) 5 street sweepers (elephant type);
2) 4 mini road vehicles with battery and sweeper;
3) 8 cargo cars with electric box body;
4) 2 electric garbage collectors.

20 electric micro-mobility vehicles were procured to be used by the security personnel working within our municipality.

Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality carries out a Car-Free Day 2023 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
