Get Active Beşiktaş! (At three different spots)
This event that started in early summer will be finalized with a series of sports activities in three different spots within our district. The sports sessions, mainly consisting of yoga and Pilates activities conducted by the experienced trainers of Beşiktaş Municipality, promote active mobility in the parks and other facilities located in Beşiktaş. The events taking place whole summer will be finalized with its special content promoting active life style for all our neighbors.

Apart from this activity, on the final day of the European Mobility Week, Beşiktaş Municipality is also organizing a walking event at the German Stream Trail located in Akatlar in order to promote active mobility in the district. The public area located around Cüneyt Arkın Sanatçılar Park had lost its function for a long time, and Beşiktaş Municipality has recently renovated it with various arrangements for its floor and landscape, bringing value to all neighbors in Beşiktaş. In order for citizens to explore these new arrangements such as the Movement and Community Area and the brand new basketball court, we chose this location for 2023 European Mobility Week in accordance with the slogan "Discover Your City". The participants are going to retrieve a complimentary t-shirts and hats designed specifically for this week.
