Amasya Belediyesi (Amasya Municipality) organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2023, taking into account the annual theme.

Posters will be hung on the boards.
Information brochures will be distributed.
Information videos will rotate on the giant screen in the main square.
16 September
On September 16, at 19:00, Ziyapaşa Boulevard will be closed to traffic and the opening cortege and protocol march will be held.
Public institutions and various NGOs will be invited to the walk.
After the cortege, the performances of our conservatory and street artists will be exhibited.
17 September
A special aerobic and step activity will be held for our women in the 12 Haziran city stadium.
A slow cycling competition will be held on the Şehzadeler Gezi road. An award will be presented to the winner by our municipality.
18 September
Our mayor will come to his office by public transport. Staff will also be encouraged to come to work by bicycle or public transport.
19 September
Our municipality's marching band will announce the concert event that will be held in the evening at various points of the city by bus. In the evening, a concert event will be held on the Princes' Promenade.
20 September
Sports events will be organized for office workers.
This event will be held in 3 different local government institutions, and training will be given to work and mobility in the office after sports.
21 September
A conversation on healthy life, mobility and longevity will be held by Physiotherapists, Dietitians and Sports trainers for our citizens.
22 September
A pedaling competition will be held. In the competition, which will be held with the slogan of "Get your bike and come," the finalists will be awarded with the apparatus to be mounted on the bikes and the finalists who produce electricity the most and for the longest time.

The preparations for the climate change action plan continue. In line with the plan, we took our city council decision to sign the Presidents' agreement.

Car-free day Car-free day

Amasya Belediyesi (Amasya Municipality) carries out a Car-Free Day 2023 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
On September 16, 2023, Ziya Pasha Boulevard, one of the 2 main streets of the city, will be closed to traffic for 24 hours.
In addition, it is closed to traffic every year between 1 June and 1 October between 20:00 and 00:00.
