Mobility for Everyone is about making sure all people can access sustainable transport, no matter their income, location, gender or abilities. No matter if they are young, old, or not even born yet! In 2026, we focus on intergenerational mobility. At different points along the life course, children, youths, adults and older people face mobility challenges and obstacles related to their respective needs and abilities. EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK encourages us to envision mobility, where transport systems are adapted to all age groups and fulfil the needs of current and future generations. Collaboration between age groups and the use of each generation’s skills and assets can make mobility more inclusive. At a crucial moment in history where more generations co-exist than ever before, the European Commission aims to foster fairness across the generations, while also considering the perspective of future generations. A dedicated Intergenerational Fairness Strategy is to be published in 2026. This strategy comes as the result of a thorough co-creation process implemented over the past year. Together, let's transform every journey and ensure mobility for everyone!

Mobility for Everyone is about making sure all people can access sustainable transport, no matter their income, location, gender or abilities. Many people face challenges like high-cost or lack of transport options that limit their access to jobs, education and essential services; this is known as transport poverty.
In 2025, EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK invites us to envision and build towards a society where transport services are available, accessible, affordable, inclusive and safe, ensuring that public transport, walking and cycling are fair options for everyone. The European Social Climate Fund helps communities and households adapt to these changes by supporting affordable, sustainable mobility solutions.
Together, let's transform every journey and ensure mobility for everyone!

Shared public space brings many benefits to society. A place where people, transport modes and activities all have their own space is a place with more social equity, more road safety, less noise and air pollution, and a better quality of life.
EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK invites us to collectively decide how to share our public space, and make sure everyone can move around safely and comfortably in a pleasant environment, especially pedestrians and cyclists.
