Cēsis (Cesis) organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2007, taking into account the annual theme.

Cesis City Council wants to promote using of frendly environmental vehicle, to strengthen use of bicycle.Since 2004 Cesis City Council is participating in international Baltic Sea region INTERREG IIIB project “Baltic Sea Cycling: strategies for more bicycles in the transport system with focus on attractive and sustainable townscapes”. The aim of the project is to enhance sustainable urban mobility in Baltic Sea region by using bicycles.
