In order to celebrate various active mobility transportation modes we welcome to watch an inspirational story about a latvian who made an unique journey. A documentary "Neispējamais ir iespējams / A to B rollerski" (2017) pictures Raimonds Dombrovskis rollerskiing across North America in 90 days. The open-air cinema will be held in Rožu laukums (Rozu Square) on 22th of September at 20:00.

From 3rd until 22nd of September Cēsis participates in an international photo contest "Active mobility in action", together with other cities from Interreg project SUMPs for BSR. Participants are asked to post their photos regarding active every-day mobility and share how they keep moving sustainably! Critical mass is a well known cycling action in order to draw attention to the safety of cycling infrastructure. This September Cēsis is organizing a critical mass especially for younger generation - Kidical mass. Together with the local enthusiasts and schools the ride will go through the city of Cēsis bringing attention both to the safety measures in the city as well as promote cycling as a sustainable and healthy way of mobility.

The ride will start at 15:00 next to the Cēsis Sport's school and end at Vienības laukums (Vienibas Square). Total lenght of the route is approx. 5km.
