Burgas organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2022, taking into account the annual theme.

16 September
We set the beginning of our Mobility week on September 10th and 11th with Burgas Run. On 10 and 11 September 2022 the fifth anniversary edition of the event took place, which has become a real celebration for the city.
It is the first time a marathon distance of 42 km will take place as well as running for children and parents with baby strollers, as well as running a distance of 5 km,which will take place on September 10, a day before the 10, 21 and 42 km run.
On 16 September Burgas Municipality organizes Outdoor class on the beach for children with disabilities to celebrate together the beginning of the school year and the coming end of the summer season by helping the children get to the sea by using the newly constructed beach pathway that improves accesibility.
22 September
Together with our youth volunteers we will celebrate the car-free day by closing a main street Gladston for road traffic in a densely populated residential area of Vazrazhdane and turning it in a place with different recreational zones.
There will be a yoga zone, fitness zone, reading zone, and movie night. The youth volunteers will organize treasure hunt game with families and children.
