Burgas Run
This is an annual quarter marathon in Burgas. Runners will run through the streets and parks in Burgas along a 10-kilometer course. Over 600 participants have been registered. The event will take place on the 15th of September.
There will be a yoga/breathing exercises session for those who choose a less-intense form of participation. The event will end with a party for all participants.

9th Golden Age Gym Festival 2024
From 21st to 28th of September, the city of Burgas (Bulgaria) will host the European Gymnastics festival for people over fifty: the Golden Age Gym Festival! The Golden Age Gym Festival is not only a week of recreation, but offers also the possibility to all participants to improve their abilities, to discover new activities and cultures, sports and make new friendships. The Festival has the purpose to inform the representatives of the European National Federations about gymnastics benefits and let them experience different gym related activities. The participants shall have the pleasure to be involved in this unique Gym Festival where group presentations and leisure activities are planned together.

The GAGF is open to participants from all European federations affiliated to European Gymnastics. Federations can register groups of people 50+. Although there will be no precise definition of the age of the participants, it is recommended they are 50 years or older.

BYOB: Bring Your Own Bike
This will be a public forum to promote cycling and cycling safety. The event will include panel discussions, presentations, a safety workshop for children, bike races for children and biking together along the streets.

Car-free day Car-free day

Burgas carries out a Car-free day and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

During the Burgas Run on the 15th of September, the Municipality will close the following street to traffic for the duration of the event.

The route will also go through other fully pedestrian streets and areas
On the 20th as part of the Bring Your Own Bike Forum, the participants will ride together along 24th Infantry St and Bulair Blvd effectively taking over the roads.
