The Municipality of Nicosia by participating in the EU Mobility Week , aims to create a cycle of citizen activity in urban sustainable mobility actions with participative reciprocity. Every citizen who participates in practice, their kilometers will be converted into "energy points", which will then be translated into an amount of money that will be returned to the state to help families who are unable to pay the electricity bill. This holistic approach will be framed by a series of actions, ten (10) in number, aimed at raising public awareness of the issues of urban sustainable mobility in our city.

MEDIA EXPLOSION
An hour-long television program promoting the city's infrastructure and development on mobility issues. Areas: cycling roads/e-chargers/ pedestrian streets/ public transport (bus stops/ bus lines)/ bicycle city rentals and amenities/ e-scouters/connecting UNIs

DRESS TO IMPRESS MOBILITY RACE
The major event on Nicosia's EU Mobility Week. A "scrolling" race with all types of clean vehicles (bicycles/scouters/rollers/scates/) or by foot, in the city center. This "race" will reveal the winners according to how imaginative their costume/dressing is. At least two people will play the role of a "spy" who will take pictures or videos and upload them to social media. The winners will be announced by shouting, followed by a party.

MOBILITY TREASURE HUNT
Treasure hunt adapted to modes of transportation within the city center

WEBBING AN INTERNATIONAL DISCUSSION
EU Mayors will participate in a web presentation of good practices about tram in their cities. The scope is for public to build awareness, while the issue is highly discussed for implementation in Nicosia (public consultation)

SILVER PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
A discussion with seniors on public transportation in Nicosia Multipurpose Center with representatives from Ministry of Transport & CPT.

TRAFFIC EDUCATION COURSE
The Polydynamos Center will welcome our young friends to a fun and educational course, accompanied by representatives from Ministry of Transport & Police.

THE SOCIAL MIRROR EFFECT
A message will be delivered by elementary school children accompanied by the Municipal Police to all the illegally parked cars. The message will be asking from the public to answer at specific questions and rise the solution to them who caused it.

YOUTH ON THE GO
Youngsters, people with disabilities, specific representation according the Youth Council of the City will be invited to participate in a networking event. The scope is to build a fruitful discussion on mobility issues for the City. A welcome event will follow including representatives from the Cities, the Ministry, etc.

SMART MY PARKING APP
Official launch of the Smart Parking in Nicosia. A special event will occur while the devices for people with disabilities cars will be delivered and Promethea's road online payment will start.

ALL DAY IT'S AN OPENING DAY
Car Free Day and a series of activities will be available for children of all ages related to saving energy and positive effects on the environment and climate change
