Opatření, které v tomto městě trvale podpoří udržitelné formy dopravy, je zaměřeno na přerozdělení dopravního prostoru ve prospěch chodců, cyklistů a veřejné dopravy – jde o celkovou rekonstrukci hlavní komunikační trasy města, ulice Novosady, kde bude zúžena vozovka a naopak rozšířeny chodníky na obou stranách, vysazena zeleň a na přechodech budou instalovány semafory.
