A meglévő kerékpárutak meghosszabbítása úgy, hogy a kisforgalmú utak bevonásra kerülnek, valamint a kiépített közúthálózatokon korlátozott sebességű útszakaszokat jelölnek ki a kerékpárosok részére. A fenti kerékpáros úthálózat kijelöléséhez szükséges táblák elkészültek, kihelyzésük folyamatban van.
Az útvonal kijelölésével az Északi Lakóteleptől a Déli Iparterületig kb 5 km hosszon egybefüggő jelölt útvonalon haladhatnak biztonságosabban a kerékpárosok a városon kerezstül.
Car-free day
Eger carries out a Car-free day 2008 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
