2013. januárjában Eger, Dobó tér – Eger patak – Belvárosi térsor funkcióbővítő rehabilitációja keretében az Eger patak melletti Zalár utcában kivitelezési munkák kezdődtek. A felújítás során a parkolóhelyek megszüntetésével térköves gyalogos sétány kialakítása valósult meg padokkal, növényekkel, valamint közvetlenül az Eger patak mellett új kerékpárút építése van jelenleg folyamatban. A gyalogos forgalom kiszolgálása érdekében az Eszperantó sétány és a Fazola u. között új gyaloghíd került megépítésre.
Car-free day
Eger carries out a Car-free day 2013 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
