Public awareness raising - Distribution of leaflets regarding the European Mobility Week and the activities scheduled during this week in Municipality of Alimos.

Free entrance for the citizens to the play "The Party of our lives" which will take place in an open public theater . Also, there will be an extensive use of informative material about the participation of Municipality of Alimos to the European Mobility Week.

Experts transport engineers will speak to students of secondary school regarding the goals of European Mobility Week and the ways in which they can participate.

Alternative ways of transportation from and to Municipality of Alimos will be promoted through social media. These indicative transportation modes will be designed on maps and will promote the theme of European 's Mobility Week for 2018 which is "Mix and Move".

A torch race will be organized in central streets of Alimos. Adults and children will participate spreading the idea of streets use by the pedestrians as well and not only by cars.

Two major activities will take place during the day.
1. Relay race with bikes will be organized by the seaside road, enabling the cyclists to use part of the main street for this activity.
2. Car free day. A central street of the Municipality will be used only by pedestrians and cyclists. Adventurous games, music, dance and other activities will be offered to citizens and especially to children in order to enjoy the street without traffic and cars.
