Funchal organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2022, taking into account the annual theme.

16 September
- Exhibition entitled "Sustainable Urban Mobility in the Municipality of Funchal" and display of non pollutant vehicles;
- Radio broadcast with interviews geared at stakeholders related to mobility.
17 September
- Road safety campaign, comprised of outdoors with phrases;
- Radio broadcast with interviews geared at stakeholders related to mobility.

- Mobi Fun Day, open activities for everyone, comprised of zumba, kid karting, orienteering and other.
19 September
- Guided tour to public transport operator, aimed at students;
- Conference "Sustainable Urban Mobility: The Role of Technology for the Future", in which traffic light, parking sensors and micromodelling will be adressed;
- Radio broadcast with interviews geared at stakeholders related to mobility.

- Launch of the traffic monitoring system that allows the Municipality to gather data related to traffic activity in Funchal;

- Implementation of traffic light in at intersection to increase traffic flow aims at improving traffic through a state of the art controller. The goal is to reduce traffic congestion near one of the schools located in the municipality.
