Milano (Milan) organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2014, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
During the mobility week the public administration, helped by local associations, will close to traffic two streets: corso Buenos Aires (on September 18th) and via Muratori. Those streets will be the scenario of events about environment and sustainable mobility.

In the last year the administration created new pedestrian areas (15.000 square meters the biggest), new bike-saring stations (50 new station, more than 200 the overall city system) and a new one-way and free-floating car sharing system which has already 200.000 citizens registered.

Milano (Milan) carries out a Car-free day 2014 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
