The Car-Free Day was celebrated as part of the open house event at the Museum of Urban and Transport History. Visitors had the opportunity to learn about the era when St. Veit was still car-free and experience the innovation of public transportation and rail development firsthand, through the world’s only driving simulator of a railcar.

The Mobility Day on September 22, in cooperation with the Museum of Urban and Transport History, was a highlight of European Mobility Week. Interactive activities, such as a mobility-themed treasure hunt, introduced children to sustainable mobility in a playful way, while the chance to win an e-scooter added extra excitement. Guided tours of the museum provided insights into local transportation history. Live music and street food rounded off the day, fostering a sense of community.
