Actions relative to the theme:
At the end of EMW, pupils from selected classes from the Jihomoravské náměstí, Kotlářská and Křídlovická elementary schools signed the promise “We control climate change“ and sent it to the European Commission. Children promised to make small changes to their lives, which could finally contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
Carrying out a Car-Free Day event by closing one or more streets to traffic, and opening it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport. This should preferably happen on 22 September to mark your town or city as part of World Car-Free Day.
