Workshop “The quality of public spaces in the design of the new tram line T2 Bergamo – Villa d’Almè”
 Event time: from 17:00 to 19:00
 Event location: BergamoScienceCenter (Urban Center Conference Room) – Viale Papa Giovanni XXIII n. 57 - Bergamo
A workshop organized by the TEB company to explore the themes of infrastructure design and sustainable mobility in relation to the city and its transformations.
Starting from the Piazzale Marconi Mobility Hub project, the event aims to be a moment of discussion that tells of some of the interventions currently being implemented with respect to the new mobility of the city of Bergamo, addresses the recovery of places that have made the history of Bergamo mobility such as the former railway and its stations, including that of Ponteranica with the new square, and imagines the integration with the new residential contexts of the city, with particular reference to Chorus Life and the future TEB Bronzetti stop, significant both for the density of the flows that it will have to distribute and for the iconic and urban importance that this new piece of the city will assume. The event program follows:

17:20
Introduction - TEB's approach to the issues of infrastructure design and sustainable mobility in relation to the city and its transformations
(Gianni Scarfone, TEB CEO)

17:40
The tram network terminal and the project for the integrated mobility hub in Piazzale Marconi (Porta Sud)
(Attilio Gobbi, Architect)

18:10
Two key themes: the Bronzetti stop (common to both lines) in the context of Chorus Life; Ponteranica stop and the new square
(Paolo Belloni, Architect)

6:40 PM
Conclusions
(Filippo Simonetti, TEB President; Municipality of Bergamo)
Organized by the TEB company with the participation of the Departments of Mobility Policies and the Development of the TPL Network and Urban Regeneration, Urban Planning, Private Building and Heritage of the Municipality of Bergamo.

The prospects of cycling: the 100 km target and bicycle enhancement services
 Event time: from 10:30 to 13:00
 Event location: Sala Cutuli – Palazzo Frizzoni – Piazza Matteotti n. 27 - Bergamo
Press conference to present and illustrate recent projects completed in 2024 and new cycling/pedestrian infrastructures planned.
The event is also an opportunity to present some useful tools recently improved and/or implemented by the Municipality of Bergamo, aimed at promoting cycling and raising awareness among citizens about the use of bicycles:
• the paper map of city cycling, created by the company ATB Mobilità.
Strongly desired by the Municipality of Bergamo, the map, in addition to an illustration of the existing cycle/pedestrian routes, collects within it the services available to cyclists and those who choose to move around Bergamo in a sustainable way (racks, bike sharing, shared scooters, Velostazioni, Bike Box, Ciclofficina, cycle signage).
The paper map can also be consulted in an online version via the Bergamoinbicicletta platform and reachable from the dedicated section of the ATB company website: https://atb.bergamo.it/bike-sharing/come-muoversi-in-citta-in-bici;
• the online map of the city's cycling, accessible via the Bergamoinbicicletta platform at the following link: https://bergamoinbicicletta.it/map/, containing evidence of the existing routes and accompanied by a series of information relating to the type and surface of the routes.
During the event, some important services recently implemented or soon to be created will also be presented. Among these, the project for further expansion of the bike sharing service “La Bigi” and the new project for the implementation of bicycle counters that will be installed on some cycle routes to monitor their flows. In the context of road safety for pedestrians and cyclists, the project for the implementation of the traffic light count-down system will also be illustrated, already activated in some parts of the city and which will see further expansion in other areas of the city in the coming months. By the Department of Mobility Policies and the Development of the TPL Network and the Department of Public Works of the Municipality of Bergamo, with the participation of the company ATB Mobilità.

 Event location: Council Chamber – Palazzo Frizzoni – Piazza Matteotti n. 27 - Bergamo

Extraordinary opening of the ATB Museum
 Event time: from 09:30 to 12:30 and from 14:30 to 18:30
 Event location: ATB company headquarters – Via Monte Gleno n. 13 - Bergamo
The Museum is a place dedicated to the city where you can take an exciting journey through the history of ATB and Bergamo; it is aimed in particular at primary and secondary school students (first and second grade) as a tool for educating about sustainable mobility. The Museum's layout creates an educational-training path within which the spectator discovers the history of ATB and local public transport, also through the use of the latest video-interactive multimedia technologies.
The Museum's layout includes panels describing the main stages in the history of public transport, display cases containing relics and work tools from the past and two "historic" funicular carriages, restored and set up.
The tour ends with a visit to the hall of model railways and models managed by the Gruppo Fermodellistico Orobico: a unique event for all fans of modelling and railway culture. In particular, there is a hall in which the Associazione dei Federmodellisti has reproduced the two historic railways of the Valle Seriana and Valle Brembana; the two lines, in perfect working order, allow a historical excursus from Bergamo Station towards the two Bergamo valleys. The visit to the Museum will be possible at the following times: from 09:30 to 12:30 and from 14:30 to 18:30.
Organised by the ATB company in collaboration with GFO Bergamo – Gruppo Federmodellistico Orobico.

Millegradini 2024 Event
A cultural, amateur-competitive walk, which also includes a social route called “Zerogradini”, created by the Oratorio del Seminarino and the Union of Ex-Students of the Seminarino of the Parish of the Cathedral of Bergamo, organized by ASD Steel Triathlon in collaboration with C.S.I. of Bergamo, Runners Bergamo, Senzacca lavoro di comunità, and "L'Eco di Bergamo".
The purpose of the event is to revitalize the ancient pedestrian access routes to Città Alta and to raise awareness of the monuments and main cultural institutions of the city, leading participants to cross and visit them. The principle adopted by the organizers in their relationship with the various institutions can be summarized as follows: “Millegradini brings visitors to you, you show them who you are and what you do”;
Alongside the tourist and amateur walk, a competitive race similar to a mountain race is held which, although held in the city, has seen an increasing number of participating athletes. The “Zerogradini” was added in 2014.
The event is divided into two days: Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September.
On Saturday 21 September, the event will take place without a predefined route, so that participants can reach the places to visit starting from different points according to personal itineraries and times.
On Sunday 22, the competitive races will take place: a timed race for couples, an individual timed race organized by Runners Bergamo and the C.S.I.
Followed by the traditional group walk starting from the side street of Viale Papa Giovanni XXIII in front of the headquarters of L’eco di Bergamo.
On the same day, Zerogradini will also take place, which thanks to the collaboration of many associations, groups and entities with a shuttle bus service with reservation will give the opportunity to participate in Millegradini and access places without architectural barriers also to people with mobility problems such as people with disabilities or motor disabilities, elderly people and families with children.
