Uzhhorod organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2013, taking into account the annual theme.

The 2013 year theme on clear air and the slogan Clean air – it’s your move will be promoted creating better conditions for bikers, opening of bike parkings, open air sport and cultural activities
The Working group on bicycle infrastructure development submitted its proposal on bike infrastructure scheme to the General city development plan.

Uzhgorod city council continues to implement the sustainable mobility actions with following permanent changes:
(1) closing down the Petefi square for motorised transport and turning it to pedestrian zone, instalment of benches and trees in tubs in the new pedestrian zone;
(2) instalment of benches on Teatralyna square;
(3) finishing the repair of the pavement on Shvabska str.
(4) instalment of 6 new bicycle parking;
(5) opening of new bus route N29 connecting the market on Krasnodontsiv str. and Kotlyarevskogo str.
