An excursion for 250 pupils of 4-5 grades from different city schools to the Uzhhorod Municipal Transport company to attract attention and motivate pupils to use public transport as an alternative to parents driving their children to school in private cars.
The programme will include:
- an excursion to a utility company;
- exploring the bus interior and important information that students need to know;
- explanation of the tools used for technical inspection of public transport;
- conducting a quiz in the ‘bus classroom’;
- distribution of reflectors, drinks, and snacks;
In the long run by acting to parents through children, the event should help relieve city streets of a large number of cars and reduce traffic jams near schools, especially during morning rush hours.
