Activities within the week Activities within the week

Aberdeen City organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2014, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
Our streets our choice,

We plan to close two streets to traffic on the 21st September and fill the resulting space with a host of activities, designed to raise awareness of low carbon transport and to encourage people into the space to enjoy it and to linger.

Activities include a free cycle roadshow, a cycle fashion show, street dancing, the chance to meet our new hydrogen bus fleet, electric car club vehicles and much more

We also plan to take our cycle roadshow to shcools and workplaces in the city to raise its profile as a fun, cheap and easy way to get around

All eevents will be pulled together under the Getabout banner, the Sustainable transport partnership and brand for the north east
