Trento organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2019, taking into account the annual theme.

16 September
TRENTO, STORIES OF THE STREET (from September 16th to September 20th 2019 - in the morning and in the afternoon)
A walk along the streets of Trento, for a maximum of two hours, reserved to the second, third, fourth and fifth classes of the primary schools.
Accompanied by educators of the Museo Diocesano Tridentino children will discover some significant transformations the city has undergone, through stories, games and guided observations. Fee: 1 € / child
18 September
ECO-ORIENTEERING
The Youth Policy Office of the Municipality of Trento, together with the Local Police, the Local Section of UISP and the FIAB will organize a parade of girls and boys and an interactive game in stages on environmental, ecolocical and historical issues in Parco delle Albere.
In case of bad weather the event will be postponed to September 27th 2019.

1) GIRETTO D'ITALIA
Italian urban cycling championship. The pink jersey will be assigned to the most virtuous municipality.
Free initiative promoted by Legambiente and Velolove, in collaboration with Euromobility, aiming at encouraging Municipalities, companies and private Associations to track their employees' cycle movements to get to work on September 19th, for two hours at choice, between 6 and 10.

2) LIGHTED BIKE RIDE
Cultural routes along the most fascinating places in town illustrated by passionate local guides, with the aim to promote the use of the bicycle also at night , according to the Traffic Rules and Regulations which request the use of night lighting devices . Starting at 19.30
22 September
TRENTO BY BICYCLE
Urban bike ride, organized by the Local Tourist Board, the FIAB (Italian Federation of Friends of the Bicycle) and the Municipality of Trento.
The ride will start at 9 from the renovated square in Piedicastello, it will cross the city districts of Centro storico - Piedicastello, San Giuseppe - Santa Chiara and Oltrefersina.
Finishing line will be set at the square in Piedicastello, where associations and institutions active in the field of sustainable mobility will be available at their stands for information and fun activities for kids.
The bike ride will cover about 8 km. Participants will be divided into 3 groups, starting 30 minutes apart.
It will possibile to have lunch together at 12.30

Car-free day Car-free day

Trento carries out a Car-free day 2019 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
