La Giunta comunale ha approvato l'adesione all'accordo di programma regionale sulla qualità dell'aria 2008-2009.
Il documento ripropone i provvedimenti legati alla circolazione stradale attuati l'anno scorso che verranno ufficializzati con una apposita ordinanza del Comune che conterrà anche le deroghe e l'area interessata.
Le disposizioni entreranno in vigore in due tempi: dall'1 ottobre al 31 marzo 2009 vigerà la limitazione della circolazione privata in città dal lunedì al venerdì dalle 08.30 alle 18.30 dei veicoli ad accensione comandata e ad accensione spontanea precedenti all'Euro 1 , dei veicoli ad accensione spontanea precedenti all'Euro 2, nonché dei ciclomotori e dei motocicli a due tempi precedenti alla normativa Euro 1, anche se provvisti di bollino blu, ferme restando le deroghe alla circolazione dei veicoli storici.
Dal 7 gennaio al 31 marzo 2009 tali limitazioni riguarderanno anche i veicoli ad accensione spontanea Euro 2 qualora sprovvisti di filtro antiparticolato.
Inoltre, da giovedì 8 gennaio verrà reintrodotto il blocco della circolazione privata dalle 8.30 alle 18.30. L'area urbana interessata dai provvedimenti è la stessa dell'anno scorso.
