Further info
Establishment of available facilities/infrastructure for cyclists and pedestrians is a priority in Bergen. Pedestrians /bike paths or lans have been established in 2007. Vaskerelven and parts of the old town have been rehabilitated with facilities for bicycles. For the past four years the bus fares have been frozen in Bergen. From the 1 st of June 2007 the fares have been reduced to 23 nkr. for travelling in within the whole of Bergen comunity.
Bybanen: Bergen Light Rail is under construction.
CNG-buses are used to a great extent, especially on routes near city centre.
