New bike lockers at Øyrane Torg in Arna
Today we officially opened the new bike lockers at Øyrane Torg in Arna. Bicycle Manager Einar Grieg at the Urban Environment Agency, Bergen Municipality had the honor of cutting the cords for the ten new lockers, together with Kristina Vikesund at Miljøløftet.
– Here your bike is safe, and up to 12 hours free, he says.
– It is ideal, whether you are going to shop at Øyrane Torg, or using the locker as a driveway parking when you are going to take the train to work in Bergen.
From the new bike lockers, it is just a quick walk through the underpass to the platform at Arna station. And here the train to the city runs every fifteen minutes.
The new lockers are easy to use. Just download the app on Bikely and you can use it to unlock and lock again. Have a good trip, and safe parking!
