Östersund (City of Östersund) organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2014, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
During the Mobility 35-40 activities will be held in Ostersund with 60 partners. The week starts with a photo happening on this year's theme. Other activities that are arranged are a climate seminar, electric car exhibition, learn to ride a bike for young people with an immigrant background, walking tours, openings/inagurations, thanks to bikers, hang on on Rådhusgatan, bike event, Hare & Tortoise, competitions, art exhibitions on the bus and parking area, stick graffiti, awards and much more.

Under trafikantveckan arrangeras ca 35-40 aktiviteter i Östersund tillsammans med ett 60-tal partners. Veckan startar med en fotohappening på årets tema. Fler aktiviteter som ordnas är ett klimatseminarium, elbilsutställning, lär dig cykla för ungdomar med invandrarbakgrund, stadsvandring, invigningar, tack till cyklister, häng på avstängda Rådhusgatan, cykelevent, Haren & sköldpaddan, tävlingar, konstutställningar på buss och p-plats, stickgraffiti, prisutdelningar, och mycket mera.

During the week, a new pedestrian and bicycle crossing on Beach Street will be opened/inagurated and the redevelopment of Post Alley with bicycle parking and accessibility measures. Further measures include the construction of bicycle paths and bicycle parking, evaluation of new bike sharing, up-to-date bike-map, signs of waterfront parks, new painted green fast-charging stations and semi-fast chargers, real-time applications, and much more

Under veckan invigs en ny gång- och cykelöverfart på Strandgatan samt ombyggnationen av Postgränd med cykelparkeringar och tillgänglighetsåtgärder. Samt ytterligare åtgärder som omfattar byggnation av cykelstråk och cykelparkeringar, utvärdering av nytt lånecykelsystem, uppdaterad cykelkarta, skyltning av strandparker, nya grönmålade snabbladdstationer och semisnabbladdare, realtidsapp, och mycket mera.
