Further info
In the project "Gå-city", which means "city for pedestrians", we repave, remodel and improve the pedestrian areas in the commercial city. The project started during 2010 and was completed in august 2011.
The accessibility measures in our pedestrian road network continue through 2011. We work through one residential area at a time, making improvements for elderly and disabled people.
In September, a new bicycle lane will be created in the residential area Viksäng.
An improvement of a large parking space for cyclists has been made with more and safer parking.
