Västerås organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK , taking into account the annual theme.

Mobility day
Wednesday september 18th we will have an event called Mobility day. We close a road in the city center and hold different activities. For example there will be electric buses on display, even mini/children buses for children to play with. We will also offer bike repairs/service and talk about mobility.
Car-free day
Västerås carries out a Car-free day and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
