This year, Larnaka Municipality is planning on installing permanent bicycle parking posts in various locations in the city in order to help promote the use of bicycles. Regarding the new major construction works planned to begin this year, it has been foreseen that they will all include bicycle lanes.
Car-free day
Larnaka (Λάρνακα)
carries out a Car-free day 2011 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
