Larnaka (Λάρνακα) organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2019, taking into account the annual theme.

17 September
An open dialogue with citizens on improving mobility in the city, will be organized. The title is "How to turn a car-centric city into a human-centered city".
20 September
On Friday, 20th of September 2019, we invite the citizens in a beautiful walking tour in the historical part of the town with two guides (Greek & English) able to explain the history of the area. Our main target is to highlight the importance of walking together and enjoy our cities.

22 September
On the 22nd of September, one of the main streets of Larnaka, the Promenade Street will close all day long for the cars. This big open road, has a lot of traffic every Sunday and with the closing we give them the opportunity to walk and enjoy it.

Car-free day Car-free day

Larnaka (Λάρνακα) carries out a Car-free day 2019 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
