Detailed description (English): On Thursday 18 September 2025, the PTP, Barcelona’s ATM and the Sustainable Mobility Platform of Roda and Masies host the fifth transport race in Osona. Participants depart at 18:45 from Plaça Verdaguer in Roda de Ter and race to Vic’s Plaça Major. Each participant uses an assigned mode (walking, cycling, bus, electric or combustion car, motorcycle) and records arrival time and transport used. The event highlights that sustainable options are often faster, safer and healthier than private cars; it also compares the environmental impact of each mode. Registration is free and open to all.
Target group(s): Residents of Roda de Ter, Vic and surrounding villages; families, students and mobility enthusiasts
Objectives: Demonstrate that time spent parking, congestion and fuel costs make cars less competitive; measure and communicate emissions differences; foster local debate on sustainable transport and improvements.
Partner: PTP, ATM de Barcelona and Plataforma de Mobilitat Sostenible Roda i Masies, with support from the city councils of Roda de Ter and Vic.
