Detailed description (English): A metrominute is a map that shows the distance and walking time between one key point and another (a school, a bus station, a medical center, or simply any point of interest in the municipality). This is achieved by drawing several lines of different colors corresponding to each key point, indicating the minutes and kilometers it takes to travel from each point (using an image similar to a metro map and route).
As part of our efforts to promote a more citizen-friendly and accessible urban environment, the Provincial Energy Agency will develop a "Metrominute" for 17 municipalities with fewer than 75,000 inhabitants in our province, an initiative that has already proven successful in several municipalities across the country.
This project aims to promote a culture of walking, highlighting the proximity of recognizable places in the town and promoting short, accessible walks.
Detailed description (original language): Un metrominuto es un mapa que nos indica la distancia y el tiempo que hay a pie entre un punto clave y otro (un colegio, una estación de autobús, un centro médico o simplemente cualquier punto de interés del municipio). Esto se consigue trazando varías líneas de distinto color que corresponde a cada punto clave, indicando los minutos y kilómetros que se tardan desde los distintos puntos (a través de una imagen similar a un mapa e itinerario de un metro).
Como parte de nuestros esfuerzos por promover un entorno urbano más amigable y accesible para la ciudadanía, la Agencia Provincial de la Energía va a elaborar un “Metrominuto” a 17 municipios menores de 75.000 habitantes de nuestra provincia, una iniciativa que ya ha demostrado ser un éxito en varios municipios del territorio nacional.
Este proyecto tiene como objetivo fomentar la cultura del caminar, destacando la proximidad entre lugares reconocibles de la localidad y promoviendo trayectos cortos y accesibles a pie.
