Detailed description (English): The actions to promote the use of the bicycle in our municipalities, in addition to promoting healthy habits, try to produce a change in travel habits in the province of Cádiz, so that the bicycle becomes part of daily mobility options and makes it preferential over less environmentally friendly options.
The target audience for this training workshop will be interested citizens and companies in the province of Cádiz, and a number of students. For this second edition- we are limited to 20 people. The proposed date of celebration will be September 16 and 17 , 2024, with a training day of 8 hours a day in the morning and afternoon.
Detailed description (original language): Las actuaciones para promover el uso de la bicicleta en nuestros municipios, además de fomentar hábitos saludables, tratan de producir un cambio en los hábitos de desplazamientos en la provincia de Cádiz, para que la bicicleta pase a integrar las opciones cotidianas de movilidad y lo haga, además, con carácter preferente sobre aquellas menos respetuosas con el medio ambiente.
El público objetivo al que se destina este taller formativo serán los ciudadanos y empresas interesadas de la provincia de Cádiz, y el número de alumnos -para esta primera edición- lo hemos cerrado en 20 personas. La fecha propuesta de celebración serán los días 16 y 17 de septiembre de 2024, con una jornada formativa de 8 horas diarias en horario de mañana y tarde.

Objectives: After detecting the lack of workshops specialized in bicycle mechanics in a high number of municipalities with less than 20,000 inhabitants, we are organizing within our commemorative activities of the SEM 2024, a first edition of a bicycle mechanics training workshop, in order to motivate and promote citizens and entrepreneurs interested in receiving basic training in the matter, and at the same time encourage or promote any entrepreneurial initiative in this business niche that is constantly on the rise. The training activity will be managed by a successful bidder who is an expert in this type of training.
