Detailed description (English): On Wednesday 17 September 2025, the PTP brings its travelling exhibition to Plaça de Francesc Macià (17:00 – 20:00) together with a hands‑on energy‑efficiency workshop. The exhibition features twenty illustrated panels by artist Cristina Bueno explaining how public transport underpins sustainable mobility and territorial cohesion. It shows key messages such as public transport’s ability to move many people in little space and its role in reducing emissions and improving public health. An energy‑efficiency workshop at 18:00 uses two small carts with different wheels and a dynamometer to show that rail uses less energy than other modes. The event is open to everyone and aims to engage families and school‑age children.
Target group(s): Families, school groups, local residents and anyone interested in sustainable mobility.
Objectives: Raise awareness of the benefits of public transport and its role in sustainable urban life; demonstrate energy efficiency of rail through a participatory experiment; encourage discussion on sustainable mobility and public health
Partner: PTP, City Council of Gavà and local cultural partners; illustrations by Cristina Bueno
