Detailed description (English): On September 18th, during the European Mobility Week, El Palau d’Anglesola hosted a very special day organized jointly by Arnau Berenguer School, the Association Amics de Ca la Cileta, the Town Council of El Palau d’Anglesola, and the Ca la Cileta Retirement Home.
The schoolchildren travelled by scooter and bicycle to the retirement home, where they read a manifesto calling for safe, sustainable, and inclusive mobility for everyone. Afterwards, the Association Amics de Ca la Cileta, together with the residents using wheelchairs and the adapted tricycle Trileta, joined the parade along the newly built bike lane. The route passed through the Children’s and Adolescents’ Rights Park, symbolizing the importance of accessible spaces for all generations.
This year, as in the previous edition, the town’s electric vehicle fleet also participated: two electric vans and a shared car available for the whole community, reinforcing the municipality’s commitment to sustainable transport.
Once back at school, pupils and residents shared conversations about mobility and how games and ways of moving have evolved through time. The event concluded with a recognition diploma for each resident.
The highlight of this year’s edition was the incorporation of the new bike lane in the village, promoting its use by children, the elderly, people with reduced mobility, and all those who need to move around safely and sustainably. In line with the 2025 theme Mobility for Everyone, the activity emphasized that inclusive mobility is a right for the entire community.
Detailed description (original language): El 18 de setembre, en plena Setmana Europea de la Mobilitat, el Palau d’Anglesola va viure una jornada molt especial organitzada conjuntament per l’Escola Arnau Berenguer, l’Associació Amics de Ca la Cileta, l’Ajuntament del Palau d’Anglesola i la Residència Ca la Cileta.
L’alumnat de l’escola es va desplaçar amb patinet i bicicleta fins a la residència, on van llegir un manifest reclamant una mobilitat segura, sostenible i per a tothom. Tot seguit, els Amics de Ca la Cileta, juntament amb els residents amb cadires de rodes i la Trileta, es van unir a la comitiva pel nou carril bici, passant pel Parc dels Drets de la Infància i l’Adolescència, símbol d’accessibilitat i de convivència entre generacions.
Com ja va passar en l’edició anterior, també hi va participar la flota de vehicles elèctrics del poble: dos camionets i un cotxe compartit accessible per a la ciutadania, un element que reforça el compromís del municipi amb la mobilitat sostenible.
A l’escola, padrins i infants van compartir converses sobre la mobilitat i els jocs d’abans i d’ara, i la jornada va finalitzar amb un diploma de reconeixement per a cada resident.
La gran novetat d’enguany va ser la incorporació del nou carril bici al municipi, que fomenta el seu ús entre nens, persones grans, persones amb mobilitat reduïda i tothom qui necessiti desplaçar-se de manera segura i sostenible. En coherència amb el lema del 2025 Mobility for Everyone, l’activitat va posar en valor que la mobilitat inclusiva és un dret col·lectiu que beneficia tota la comunitat.
