Detailed description (English): On Saturday, September 17, 2022, starting at 09:30 a.m., the Provincial Energy Agency, with the support of the Puerto Serrano City Council and the Vía Verde de la Sierra Foundation, has organized the II APEC Cycling March, with an approximate route of 40 km from the Vía Verde station in Puerto Serrano to the Zaframagón station and back.
For this second edition of the APEC cycling event, it has been decided to hold it in a natural, safe area and with a route through the old Jerez - Almargen railway route, which today has been adapted for use as a greenway.
Detailed description (original language): El sábado 17 de septiembre de 2022, en horario de salida 09:30 horas, la Agencia Provincial de la Energía, con el apoyo del Ayuntamiento de Puerto Serrano y la Fundación Vía Verde de la Sierra, ha organizado la II Marcha Ciclista APEC, con un recorrido aproximado de 40 kms desde la estación de la Vía Verde de Puerto Serrano hasta la estación de Zaframagón y vuelta.
Para esta segunda edición de la marcha ciclista APEC, se ha optado por celebrarla en un paraje natural, seguro y con un recorrido a través del antiguo trazado ferroviario Jerez - Almargen, que hoy en día ha sido adecuado para el uso de vía verde.

Objectives: With this initiative, the Provincial Energy Agency intends to promote the use of the bicycle as an alternative to the combustion vehicle, and to demonstrate that through the existing bicycle lane infrastructures between these two municipalities, that it is possible to travel through this mode of transport, which has among its advantages the protection of the environment, helps to take care of and improve the physical and emotional health of people, and a lower investment and maintenance cost than that of any private transport.
