Detailed description (English): To promote sustainable transport, this facility is under video surveillance and has 174 spaces for parking bicycles on two levels, six of which are for cargo bikes. There are also spaces with charging points for electric bicycles.
Detailed description (original language): Para fomentar el transporte sostenible, esta instalación esta videovigilada y dispone de 174 plazas para aparcar las bicicletas en 2 alturas, de ellas 6 huecos son para las cargobikes y también hay plazas con carga para las bicicletas eléctricas.
El nuevo aparcabicicletas responde a las necesidades crecientes de las personas usuarias de la bicicleta y promueve la movilidad activa, impulsando el uso de la bicicleta como alternativa al vehículo privado, minimizando el riesgo de robo, ordenando el espacio público y evitando el estacionamiento desorganizado en plazas y calles.
Target group(s): Bicycle users who live in the area or who have that neighbourhood as their destination (for work or leisure). Having a safe place to park your bicycle means that it doesn't matter if you don't have space at home to store it, and there's no excuse not to use this sustainable means of transport.
Objectives: The new bicycle parking facility responds to the growing needs of bicycle users and promotes active mobility, encouraging the use of bicycles as an alternative to private vehicles, minimising the risk of theft, organising public space and preventing disorderly parking in squares and streets.
