Detailed description (English): On Sunday, September 22, 2024, at 09:30 a.m. departure time, the Provincial Energy Agency, with the support of the Cádiz City Council, has organized the IV APEC Cycling March, with an approximate route of 15 kms that will cover part of the urban nucleus of the municipality.
For this fourth edition of the APEC cycling march, it has been decided to celebrate it in an urban center, safe and with a route through the coast, which today has been adapted through a cycling lane.
Detailed description (original language): El domingo 22 de septiembre de 2024, en horario de salida 09:30 horas, la Agencia Provincial de la Energía, con el apoyo del Ayuntamiento de Cádiz, ha organizado la IV Marcha Ciclista APEC, con un recorrido aproximado de 15 kms que recorrerá parte del núcleo urbano del municipio.
Para esta cuarta edición de la marcha ciclista APEC, se ha optado por celebrarla en un centro urbano, seguro y con un recorrido a través de la costa, que hoy en día ha sido adecuado a través de un carril ciclista.

Objectives: With this initiative, the Provincial Energy Agency intends to promote the use of the bicycle as an alternative to the combustion vehicle, and demonstrate that through the existing bicycle lane infrastructures in this municipality, it is possible to circulate by this means of transport, which Among its advantages is the protection of the environment, it helps to care for and improve the physical and emotional health of people, and a lower investment and maintenance cost than any private transport.
