Detailed description (English): On September 19th, EUNEIZ University organized a dynamic event on campus as part of European Mobility Week (September 16–22), reaffirming its commitment to healthier and more sustainable urban mobility. The initiative brought together dozens of students to explore and engage with sustainable transport options.
The event featured a bicycle and electric scooter repair workshop led by Gasteiz Urban Mobility, a fun electric scooter gymkhana, and interactive activities designed to raise awareness and promote responsible mobility habits. These activities encouraged students to reflect on their daily commuting choices and discover new, eco-friendly alternatives.
Every day, hundreds of EUNEIZ students commute to campus using public transport, bicycles, scooters, or by walking—demonstrating the university’s dedication to environmentally respectful mobility. The event was met with enthusiastic participation from the university community, who shared experiences and ideas to foster a more sustainable future.
Detailed description (original language): EUNEIZen Mugikortasunaren Europako Astea ospatu dugu irailaren 19an, garraio jasangarriaren aldeko konpromisoa berretsiz. Jardunaldiak ikasle ugari bildu zituen mugikortasun arduratsuaren aukerak ezagutzeko eta esperimentatzeko.
Gasteiz Urban Mobility-ren eskutik bizikleta eta patinete elektrikoen konponketa tailerra, patinete gynkana eta jarduera interaktiboak izan genituen. Egunero, ehunka ikaslek garraio publikoa, bizikleta, patinetea edo oinez etortzen dira EUNEIZera, ingurumenarekiko errespetuzko mugikortasunaren alde eginez. Jardunaldiak harrera bikaina izan zuen komunitate osoaren aldetik.
El 19 de septiembre, EUNEIZ celebró la Semana Europea de la Movilidad con una jornada llena de actividades para fomentar el transporte sostenible. Con talleres de reparación de bicis y patinetes eléctricos, una gynkana para probar patinetes y dinámicas interactivas, el alumnado exploró nuevas formas de moverse de manera responsable. Cada día, cientos de estudiantes acceden al campus de forma sostenible, reflejando el compromiso de EUNEIZ con una movilidad respetuosa con el entorno.
