Detailed description (English): In this edition, the union organizes and collaborates in various events to raise awareness about the importance of public transport as a fundamental pillar for social, environmental and economic development. CCOO will promote transport intermodality as a shared public good and will support the registered amendments, together with other organizations, to the Sustainable Mobility Law project.
Detailed description (original language): En esta edición, el sindicato organiza y colabora en diversos actos para concienciar sobre la importancia del transporte público como pilar fundamental para el desarrollo social, medioambiental y económico. CCOO promoverá la intermodalidad del transporte como un bien público compartido y respaldará las enmiendas registradas, junto a otras organizaciones, al proyecto de la Ley de Movilidad Sostenible.

Objectives: All means of public and business transportation must play a relevant role in reducing traffic accidents, including work-related accidents (in itinere and on mission), which in 2023 showed, according to advance data from the Ministry of Labor and Economy Social, the alarming figures of 21,591 traffic accidents with sick leave during working hours and 91 fatal traffic accidents during working hours. Regarding traffic accidents in itinere, 51,796 accidents with sick leave and 125 fatal accidents were recorded. For decades, CCOO has proposed measures for workplaces with the aim of facilitating staff movements in a sustainable, accessible, economical and safe way, reducing road accidents.
