Detailed description (English): On the occasion of the European Mobility Week (SEM) which is celebrated from September 16 to 22, the union claims that being able to travel from home to work in pleasant public environments and in a sustainable and safe way should be considered as an right of workers
As the main measure to prevent these workplace accidents, CCOO is committed to implementing Sustainable Transportation Plans to Work, which also contribute to mitigating the environmental, social and economic problems of the unsustainable labor mobility model. The union urges that companies, work centers, industrial estates or business parks adopt the appropriate measures with the aim of facilitating staff movement in a sustainable, accessible, economical and safe manner, reducing road accidents.
