SVC car free
Breakfast bags for everyone who uses sustainable mobility, plus a survey on mobility behavior and bicycle coding. This event takes place in the light hall of Moritzhof, between 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. The campaign is organized by Logistics department and EU office of the city of Chemnitz.

Bicycle tour: 4 rivers tour
The ADFC Chemnitz e. V. invites everyone to a four-river tour. The 130-kilometer bike tour starts at 8 am at the Gablenzplatz stop and ends at 7 pm. Participants must pay a fee of 3 euros. (www.adfc-chemnitz.de)

Brückenstrasse is to be transformed into a "street space of mindfulness", with a cultural accompanying program (DJ, MusicX - live music, Chemnitzer cover). Bicycle star ride
There are three planned tours. The north tour starts at 1:00 p.m. at the Nordpark, the south tour starts at 12:30 p.m. at Wasserschloss Klaffenbach and the west tour starts at 12:30 p.m. at the Frei-Otto-Park. All tours reach the market in front of the town hall around 3 p.m.
The bike tours are organized by VCD, smac, Association of Chemnitz Guest Guides. V., Museum for Saxon Vehicles e. V., the Environment Agency and the EU office in Chemnitz.

Bicycle coding
Each bike receives an individual code tailored to its owner, this code is hardwired into the frame. This makes the coding an effective protection against theft. The police can assign found bicycles more easily to their owners.

Sanierung der Trasse Gablenz inklusive barrierefreier Ausbau der Haltestellenpaare Reineckerstraße, Nürnberger Straße und Gablenzplatz.
Sanierung der Trasse Schönau inklusive barrierefreier Ausbau der Haltestellenpaare Reichstraße, Kappler Drehe, Am Feldschlösschen und Guerickstraße.
Einrichtung einer Tempo 30 Zone auf der Reichsstraße rund um die Schule.
Anlegen neuer Gehwege und weiterer Tempo-30-Abschnitte in Altchemnitz, Hutholz, Rottluff, Einsiedel und am Fuße des Sonnenbergs, weitere Vorhaben sind geplant.
Erstellung eines interaktiven Stadtplans, auf dem Eltern den sichersten Schulweg für ihre Kinder auswählen können.
Fertigstellung eines neuen Fernbusterminals, mit zusätzlichen Parkplätzen für Carsharing-Autos oder zum Laden von Elektrofahrzeugen.
