Detailed description (English): Whether you're a seasoned rider or just starting out, the EIT Sustainability Committee welcomes you to celebrate Car-free Day 2023 with a bike/e-bike tour around the Danube!
With the kind support of HelloVelo and BKK Mol Bubi, the EIT staff and EIT Hub staff working in the Infopark (Budapest) are invited to join this exciting trip to promote a healthier lifestyle, sustainable commuting and CO2 emissions reduction!
The aim is to introduce sustainable travel behavior and local cycling infrastructure in a fun way by:
-hosting an EIT bike-ride to/from Batthyány tér using HelloVelo e-bikes and MOL Bubi bikes;
-introducing the MOL Bubi public bike-share scheme and (we hope!) EIT's new reimbursement mechanism of the annual Bubi pass
-launching a fortnight's trial of e-bikes kindly supplied by HelloVelo
