Detailed description (English): "Share the road" campaign is one of the activities that we organize in the framework of project SUMCITYNET: cities towards increasing accessibility and sustainable climate-proof urban mobility. It promotes the idea and good practice to share the road by drivers and cyclists and cyclists and pedestrians. During our activities, we try to motivate the drivers to keep speed limits, encourage sharing the road with cyclists, giving them space, and respecting them as equal road users.
On the other hand, we motivate both, cyclists and pedestrians to be more tolerant to each other and share the space they commonly use with respect.
Besides, we explain to youngsters the positive influence of climate sustainable transport such as bicycle to many aspects of our cities.
City cycle-ride is included.
